Terms of use

These terms apply to Crew-Start (crew-start.com), provided by Affinity Ventures GP, an Oregon general partnership (“we”, “us”). By using Crew-Start you agree to them. If you use it for a company, you agree on that company’s behalf and confirm you may do so. A separate written agreement with a customer company takes priority over these terms.

Accounts

• Keep your sign-in details private, and tell us at once if you think someone else has used your account.
• A company’s owners decide who joins it and in which role, and are responsible for the people they invite.

Your company’s information

• Your company owns the information it puts into Crew-Start. You give us permission to store and process it only to provide the service to you.
• You are responsible for having the right to use that information, including your clients’ and staff’s personal information, and for any consent the law requires (for example, before sending text messages to clients).
• You can ask for a copy of your company’s information while your account is open, and for a reasonable time after it closes.

Acceptable use

Don’t use Crew-Start to break the law, send spam, harm others, or try to get at information that isn’t yours, and don’t attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the service.

Connected services

If you connect services such as Google Calendar, RingCentral or QuickBooks, their own terms also apply, and we are not responsible for how they work.

Fees

Any fees for Crew-Start are as agreed with your company in writing. We will give notice before introducing or changing fees.

Availability and changes

We work to keep Crew-Start available and reliable, and we improve it over time. We may change or retire features, and will give reasonable notice of changes that significantly affect you.

Disclaimer

Crew-Start is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties beyond those stated in these terms. You remain responsible for checking prices, schedules, pay and invoices before relying on them.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue or data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees your company paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Ending use

You can stop using Crew-Start at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, with notice where reasonable.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, USA, and disputes will be handled in the courts of Oregon.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms we will update the date above, and tell customer companies about significant changes before they take effect.
